Representative Matches

The Leicester league play two representative matches each year, made up of rinks from teams within the league (on a rota basis)

The matches in 2026 will be: 

  • Wednesday 12th August 2026 - League play against Bowls Leicestershire Executive @ Narborough BC starting at 6:00pm.  The league side will be provided by: Goodwood; St Margaret's Coop; Fleckney; Birstall & Kingscroft + a Council Rink.

       

  • tbc August 2025 - League play against The Chairman's Club - Hart of Fleckney on their green starting at 6:00pm. The league side will be provided by: Leicester, Countesthorpe; Brookfield Electric; Little Bowden; Fosseway + a Council Rink.

A raffle will be held at both games, with a prize being donated by all participating rinks, in aid of the Bowls Leicestershire Men's section Benevolent fund. In the last few years we have donated over £2300 to this very worthy cause.
